This is the original service box outfitted by bell in 1939. It has been repaired several times throughout its life and is in very rough condition. A decision was made to start fresh rather then attempt to repair it. This gave the opportunity to slightly alter dimensions or “hot rod” if we can use the term. The new box will be chopped by about 6.0” to provide a more appealing look, and so as not to obstruct view from the rear window of the cab.
