1936 Ford Roadster Kustom Project

You can see the fitting on the left has ¼” of material trimmed off. This permits rotation of the fitting on install when positioned so close together. We have also trimmed the other fitting after the photo to keep things uniform. After cutting, the ½” npt needed to be plunged deeper to allow install of the _8an male union. This must be done with proper judgment and slight manipulation of the male thread. Care must be taken so as not to sink the male fitting too deep into the 90 degree fitting that it begins to plug off the port. The filter selection has been change to a shorter option to gain greater ground clearance.
